High Camp Gravel Social
3 days of gravel riding, good food, and campfire conversations in the Lost Sierra.
Get Your TicketRide Gravel. Eat Well. Sleep Under the Stars.
The High Camp Gravel Social is a small, laid-back gathering for gravel riders who want to explore the Lost Sierra without the crowds of a big event. Think of it as a weekend with friends you haven't met yet.
You'll ride stunning gravel routes through national forest, come back to prepared dinners at camp, and spend your evenings around the fire swapping stories. Lodging at High Camp is included, so all you need to bring is your bike and your appetite.
What's Included
Lodging
3 nights at Beckwourth Peak High Camp in a cabin, yurt, or campsite. Hot showers, Starlink WiFi, and 360-degree mountain views.
Meals
Dinner each evening, prepared on-site. Think hearty, satisfying food after a long day on the bike. Breakfast and lunch are on your own (kitchen basics provided).
Routes
Curated gravel routes for each day, ranging from mellow to adventurous. GPX files provided so you can ride at your own pace.
Campfires
Every evening ends around the communal fire pit. Firewood included. Bring your own beverage of choice.
Small Group
Limited to 18 riders. This is intentionally small so you can actually get to know the people you're riding with.
Disc Golf
Take a rest day spin around the 20-basket mountain disc golf course. Discs available at camp if you don't have your own.
Getting Here
High Camp is about 45 minutes north of Truckee and 90 minutes from Reno. If you're coming from the Bay Area or Sacramento, plan on a 3.5 to 4-hour drive.
Carpool from Truckee
We encourage carpooling. If you're flying into Reno or driving from the Tahoe area, Truckee is a natural meetup point. We have a private Facebook group for coordinating rides, sharing route info, and connecting with other attendees before the event.
Once you purchase your ticket, you'll get an invite to the Facebook group where you can find a carpool buddy.
